The essential ingredient in your recipe for success, respect, and a lasting legacy. Having a strong personal sphere of influence means you’re connected to a large number of people and resources for mutual development and growth. Personal spheres of influence are intended to be mutually beneficial.

Strategic Influence

This is the highest level of influence. The power of strategic influence is learning how to cultivate relationships with influential business people from your industry who can be strategic to your business and marketing plan. Developing relationships with these types of influencers can have an enormous impact on your business because of the potential sustaining relationships you can experience with them.

A business influencer with expansive influence is called a center of influence (COI). A COI can be a deeply embedded businessperson in a community, state, or multi-state region, or a nationally known or even a global business leader.

“Establishing a Survival Mindset” (committing to the idea that you can handle anything life throws at you) and a critical understanding that developing a powerful and personal sphere of influence is a worthy goal.

Have a survival mindset with a clear vision of who you are and what you can become. This will allow you to gain a reputation as a person who knows how to overcome challenges and solve problems.

Focus on networking! Your efforts to meet and connect with people who are willing to engage in exchanges of value is called networking. Focus on getting to know influencers and people who can help you with meaningful exchanges of value.

Looking at problems with a solution-oriented approach, being adaptable, and recognizing what you can and cannot control.
